University Drug Bust Lands Students in Jail
Twenty-nine people were arrested earlier this week in raids at nine locations. Agents found cocaine, Ecstasy, and three guns at Theta Chi. Eighteen of the 19 arrested were wanted on warrants for selling to undercover agents.
Theta Chi and five other fraternities have been suspended pending a hearing on evidence.
Those arrested are charged with dealing drugs, sometimes quite openly, on campus. One fraternity member even sent out a mass text message advertising special prices on cocaine. Those arrested included two students about to receive the following degrees: criminal justice and homeland security.
If you have found yourself facing drug charges in Orlando or anywhere in Florida, please contact The Umansky Law Firm today to schedule your private consultation.
