Advertising Lands Several in Jail
Advertising your business just ain't what it used to be. Case in point: the owner of an Orange County strip club, the club's manager, and several dancers were arrested on charges of "advertising a prohibited activity in an adult establishment and a dancing violation." Agents with the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigations raided the establishment on Wednesday around 11pm.
The sign advertised nude dancing, and because Orange County prohibits full nudity, the group was taken to jail where they were processed.
While this may seem like a minor offense, many people in Florida find themselves on the wrong side of the law for more serious violations. If you have been arrested for a drug offense, prostitution or solicitation, or any other alleged criminal activity in Orange County or Orlando, Florida, please contact the criminal defense attorneys at The Umansky Law Firm today for a confidential consultation.
