Home Invasion Call Leads to Drug Arrests
Victims of an alleged home invasion became suspects in a marijuana growing operation in Polk County on Monday.
Police responded to a home after a woman's call that armed men were in her home was disconnected. When police showed up, they found two home invasion victims, a man and woman, in a closet. The man was handcuffed and bleeding from a head wound he allegedly suffered when he was pistol whipped by the two intruders. Police began searching the home for the suspects and uncovered marijuana plants growing in two rooms.
The two occupants of the home face charges of cultivating marijuana, and maintaining a residence for the use of drug use and trafficking.
If you live in the Orlando area, or anywhere else in Florida, and are facing drug charges, please contact the criminal defense attorneys at The Umansky Law Firm today for a confidential consultation.
