Elementary School Teacher Arrested in Drug Sting
A second-grade teacher allegedly sold crack and heroin to undercover deputies in the Tampa, Florida area. She was arrested last Friday as she left the school where she taught. According to police, the teacher was being investigated since earlier this month when she allegedly sold .3 grams of heroin and .3 grams of crack for cash to detectives at a convenience store. A spokesperson for the elementary school where she taught says she will be sent a letter asking her not to return and will probably be suspended.
A lapse in judgment can cost you more than your freedom. It can cost you your career. If you have been charged with a drug offense in the Orange County, Orlando, or anywhere else in the state of Florida, please contact the criminal defense attorneys at the Umansky Law Firm for an initial and confidential consultation.
