A retired veteran was driving past a young man in a work truck who was speeding through a recent Umansky Law Firm client’s neighborhood. The two exchanged heated words and the truck driver followed our client to his house where he blocked his driveway and advanced on the much older and smaller client. The client pulled his registered gun in an attempt to stop the irate driver’s advance toward him. While the man stopped, the client was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm, a felony which carries a mandatory prison sentence if convicted.
