‘X-Factor’ Contestant Arrested for DUI in Delray Beach, Florida
Lexa Berman, who was recently voted off as a contestant on the TV talent show ‘X-Factor’, was arrested in Delray Beach for DUI after colliding with another car at the intersection of South Ocean Blvd and Linton Blvd. The 22-year-old woman admitted to having two drinks at an event in West Palm Beach earlier that night. After striking the vehicle, witnesses say she then crashed into a block wall and nearby bushes.
When police requested her to perform a field sobriety test, she failed – after quipping that she “can’t even do that sober.” Berman’s blood-alcohol content (BAC) level was between .275 and .288 – over 3 times the legal limit. Although police took her to the Palm Beach County Jail, she bailed herself out by Monday morning.
