What’s a misdemeanor?
Misdemeanors are crimes of a less serious nature than felonies. They carry potential punishments of up to a one thousand dollar fine and or up to one year in the county jail for first-degree misdemeanors and up to five hundred dollar fine and or up to 60 days of jail for second-degree misdemeanors.
